A fond farewell to Simon

Wednesday, September 28th, 2022

The end of an era! Simon is off to start his new position at Roche Spark Therapeutics. A bittersweet departure for sure. Simon was a constant source of smiles and enthusiasm within the lab and helped to set the tenor of the lab. It’s been terrific to watch his growth as a scientist. But after resubmitting paper #3 (with papers #4 and #5 in the pipeline…) we suppose it is time for him to move on. Each of Simon’s papers have been in different fields and it is impressive to see such comprehensive pieces of work across so many different disciplines. Simon will be deeply missed.
