Our book chapter on 6mA is online

Thursday, November 10th, 2016

Our chapter “N6-Methyladenine: A Conserved and Dynamic DNA Mark” in the book DNA Methyltransferases – Role and Function is now up on pubmed. In the chapter we give an overview of DNA modifications, discuss the history of 6mA throughout the tree of life, describe methods for detecting and quantifying 6mA, describe enzymes and binding proteins, and touch on the biological role of 6mA.
